The International Distiller of the Year award, sponsored by Suntory, awarded to the Distiller demonstrates the highest qualities in a range of spirits in the Competition.  In order to arrive at a fair result there are four shortlists for this award.

Shortlists are drawn up by looking at producer’s performance against entry; overall average mark and awards gained.  The overall winner from each section go forward for the International Distiller of the Year.

This is an extremely prestigious award and it is a great achievement to reach any of these shortlists.
