Wine Maestro Brett has spent over forty years learning about, working with, teaching others about, and – naturally – enjoying wine. He trained at the Swiss Hotel School in Lausanne in the 1960s. After further experience in top European hotels, Brett opened his wine bar and bistro in Billericay, Essex. This was in 1976 when the British love of wine was in its infancy.
He has the WSET Diploma and is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and the Association of Wine Educators as well as a keen judge.
He is constantly extending his wine knowledge with travel and research through visits to wine producing regions in the Old World as well as the New.
