Laura Atkinson


With a love for food and wine, Laura joined the trade in 2007 with Corney & Barrow. From there she worked with Michelin star chefs in 5 star hotels before becoming a Head Sommelier. She participated in the finals of Young Sommelier of the Year two years in a row, and achieved the WSET Diploma. In addition, Laura is a trained WSET Educator for Wine Service and enjoys hosting events and tastings in London whilst blogging about her various vineyard trips around the world. With an eclectic taste and a particular love for all the classic French and Spanish regions alongside South Africa, Riesling and Austrian whites, Laura moved from remote North Yorkshire to join Berry Bros. & Rudd in 2010, now as a Private Account Manager in the Fine Wine department. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys country pursuits, VW beetles and eating in as many restaurants as possible.
