Laura began her career in the trade at Corney & Barrow before a love for food and wine matching soon took a hold. From there she worked with Michelin star chefs in 5 star hotels before becoming Head Sommelier at Rockliffe Hall. Her focus then shifted towards a Master Sommelier qualification and the WSET Diploma, including a few Sommelier of the Year competitions where she reached the finals two years in a row.
Laura has been an Associate Judge at the IWSC for 3 years previously and is a trained WSET Educator. Currently Laura manages a portfolio of private clients at Berry Bros. & Rudd, helping to build their bespoke cellars for both future drinking and fine wine investment whilst writing for their company blog.
