27-year-old Mariano Braga is one of the most important Argentinean sommeliers. Throughout these years, he has visited 59 countries, what has allowed him not only to specialize in the wine market, but also to do it with a broad knowledge of the industry overall performance.
Today, Mariano is an active member of F.I.J.E.V. (Fédération Internationale des Journalistes et des Vins et Spiritueux écrivains), an organization that brings together wine journalists worldwide. He is the editor of WINE+ (an exclusive publication for the biggest wine clubs in Argentina and Uruguay) and a columnist for the magazines Sommelier (Peru), Experiencia Gourmet (México) and Clase Premier (Aeromexico’s in-flight magazine).
Mariano has been nominated as one of the nine best wine bloggers in the world by the International Wine & SpiritCompetition (IWSC), being the only Spanish-speaking journalist to be included in the list.
Mariano writes textbooks and takes part of radio and television programmes related to food, wine and tourism in Argentina, in addition to teaching and training hundreds of people, conveying a strong spirit, typical of those who feel wine as a lifestyle. |
