Klaus Wurm is owner and master distiller of the „Maerkische Spezialitaetenbrennerei“ in Hagen, Germany.
He already started in 1991 with fruit spirits, although it was not more than a hobby then. Later he turned his passion into a career and founded the “Maerkische Spezialitaetenbrennerei” in 2010. Right from the start he produced Whisky, fruit spirits and liqueurs, which are internationally awarded since.
He continually widened his skills in distilling technology and exercised his sensory. Since 2011 he is a judge for fruit spirits and liqueurs at the IWSC.
