Since leaving the Press department of the French Embassy, Lilyane has been involved in the wine trade for over forty years, first as a lecturer for SOPEXA for some 25 years. In 1992, she started a wholesale wine business in Hertfordshire.
Winner of the Wine Trade Club Educational Trophy (W&SET Rouyer Guillet Cup).
She participates in many international wine competitions sponsored by the OIV (Organisation International de la Vigne et du Vin) around the world. Her interest in the Spanish language and her passion for dancing the tango attract her regularly to South America, in particular Argentina.
