Spirit Award Results for the 2009 IWSC
Spirits are mainly judged by type, age and strength. Scotch whiskies are also judged by region style and cask finish where appropriate. Some products may also be judged by country/region as necessary.
Shortlists for Distiller of the Year awards will be released on line by 1st September. The winners from these categories and the overall distiller will be announced on the evening of the Awards Presentation & Banquet to be held on 26th November 2009 at the City of London Guildhall. The other Spirits trophies have been announced.
