Gorgeous aromas come wafting out the glass bringing ripe berry fruits, honey and honeysuckle. Slight smoky hint with distinct sherry. Dark fruit cake with cherries and marzipan. Great profusion of flavours including dark chocolate, treacle, pear and caramelised fruit. More comes in form of toffee, citrus and marmalade. Attractive, oily viscosity. Very much alive despite all its age. |
