Bright gold. Very attractive and complex nose. Ripe and dried fruit backed by super floral display where dark rose and lavender show well. Powerful yet restrained delivery into the mouth. Once there the flavours explode to every taste bud and in the confines of the mouth it gives an incredible sensation of majesty. Incredibly smooth flow and silky texture. Complexity begins to builds again after initial explosion and all the ripe and dried fruit flavours show again with gentle oak caress. Everlasting fruit and spice filled finish. A great expression of modern South African brandy. |
