Celebrating producers and retailers

As well as judging individual wines and spirits, we are also keen to recognise the creativity of the companies that import, sell and distribute those bottles, showcasing their excellence in encouraging a greater understanding – and sales – of quality drinks.

Wine Producer of the Year

Winning a medal at the IWSC is a fantastic achievement. Producers are rewarded the Best Producers in their categories based on their achievement at this year’s awards.

Having created a shortlist of the best performers at the IWSC, the winners are then announced at the awards ceremony in November.

Supermarkets are invited to take part, free of charge, by completing the application. The award will be based on the achievement in the last 12 months, and their plan for the next 12 months.

When judging the applications their future plans highlighted in their previous application will be taken into consideration, to ensure the applicant has fulfilled his ambitions.

Applications open in January and the winner will be announced in March. The winner will hold the title for the period between March and February the following year.

 

Wine Distributor of the Year & Spirit Distributor of the Year

Distributors are invited to take part, free of charge, by completing the application. The award will be based on the achievement in the last 12 months, and their plan for the next 12 months.

Our off-trade judges are also invited to nominate their top suppliers based on service and diversity of the range.

When judging the applications their future plans highlighted in their previous application will be taken into consideration, to ensure the applicant has fulfilled his ambitions.

Applications open in January and the winner will be announced in March. The winner will hold the title for the period between March and February the following year.



On-trade Supplier of the Year

On-Trade suppliers are invited to take part, free of charge, by completing the application. The award will be based on the achievement in the last 12 months, and their plan for the next 12 months.

Our on-trade judges are also invited to nominate their top suppliers based on service and diversity of the range.

When judging the applications their future plans highlighted in their previous application will be taken into consideration, to ensure the applicant has fulfilled his ambitions.
