Ludo Ducrocq is a global spirits marketer who currently leads William Grant & Sons’ ambassador programme. A graduate of the University of Lille, he left his native France in 1999 to complete his studies in Scottish literature at the University of Glasgow.
He joined William Grant & Sons in 2000 and spent much of his career travelling the world as a global ambassador for the company’s single malt and blended Scotch whisky brands. He has been a member of the company’s nosing panel for 16 years and was recognised as a Keeper of the Quaich in 2012 for his contribution to Scotch whisky.
Ducrocq also sits on the Board of Education at the European Bartender School where he is responsible for the whisk(e)y curriculum. He is based at the Glenfiddich distillery and lives in Scotland with his wife and two children.
