Isa Bal MS
Isa started his career in the hospitality industry as a commis sommelier at The Vineyard at Stockcross. In 2008 he won the title of Best Sommelier of Europe and in 2009 Isa passed his Master Sommelier exams. Following 12 years as the Head Sommelier for the Fat Duck Group, Isa joined forces with The Fat Duck Head Chef, Jonny Lake to found the Bermondsey restaurant Trivet. Isa is recognised as one of the world’s leading sommeliers, and in 2022 he was named the winner of the Michelin Guide Sommelier Award.
