" Nose beckons with citrus and dark treacle while liquorice brings up the rear. Full and gorgeous entry into the mouth with lots of life despite the age. Flavours of dark sugar, mature malt and crisp rye fill the mouth. Some maple syrup, toasted nut and vanilla add to the complexity. Also some dark chocolate and light minty notes get involved before a long, leisurely finish. "
