Founder

Harry Crowther is a leading voice in modern wine, recognised for his ability to challenge convention and make high-quality wine more accessible through innovative formats and commercial thinking. He is the co-founder of Tiny Wine, a next-generation wine business redefining how consumers and the trade discover premium wines through small-format tasting, curated kits, and scalable sampling solutions. At Tiny Wine, Harry works closely with producers, importers, and global wine bodies to create efficient, sustainable routes to market for some of the world’s most exciting wines. By combining deep buying expertise with cutting-edge preservation technology, Tiny Wine enables both consumers and the trade to explore premium wines without the traditional cost, waste, or barriers associated with full bottles. Harry’s foundation in wine was built hands-on, with multiple harvests completed across New Zealand and Portugal’s Douro Valley. These formative experiences in vineyards and cellars gave him a practical understanding of winemaking that continues to inform his buying philosophy and commercial decisions today. On returning to London, Harry held senior buying and category roles at some of the capital’s most respected operators, including Hedonism Wines in Mayfair and M Restaurants, where he led wine strategy, supplier relationships, and list development at scale. He later launched his own consultancy, specialising in profitable wine strategies for the on-trade, before playing a pivotal role in launching Good Pair Days into the UK. There, he headed up buying for the UK market and built a fully integrated, end-to-end import model, establishing the commercial and operational foundations for the brand’s growth. Alongside Tiny Wine, Harry is the founder of Grain to Grape, a modern wine training platform developed in partnership with Moët Hennessy, delivering commercially focused education for the hospitality sector. He is also a regular contributor to The Buyer, where he writes on buying, trends, and the evolving wine landscape. Through his work as a founder, buyer, and educator, Harry continues to shape a more open, sustainable, and commercially intelligent future for the wine industry.
