The IWSC will be presenting award-winning wines for tasting next week at the largest New Zealand wine trade tasting in Europe.

Flavours of New Zealand 2018 will give visitors the opportunity to meet key New Zealand winemakers and representatives, as well as taste over 450 wines from more than 100 producers, spanning at least 20 different grape varieties and styles.

Ten gold medal winning wines will be presented at the IWSC table, including Gold Outstanding wines Peregrine Central Otago Riesling 2012 and Marisco Vineyards’ A Sticky End Noble Sauvignon Blanc 2016, as well as wines from Villa Maria Estate, Spy Valley, Oyster Bay New Zealand, Kono Beverages, Matua Valley Wines, Yealands Family Wines, and Giesen Group.

The very best wines from New Zealand will also be on display at the fair at the exclusive Masters Selection table, selected by 15 international Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers who have recently visited the country. From close to 100 nominated wines, 16 have been chosen to showcase the finest styles, varieties and regions of New Zealand.

Multiple masterclasses will be run throughout the day, led by Rebecca Gibb MW and Peter McCombie MW. These seminars will range from ‘Expressions of Sauvignon’ and ‘Classic Reds’ to ‘Alternative New Zealand’ and ‘Different shades of Pinot’, and will give visitors the opportunity to learn more about the country’s wine and regions.

Flavours of New Zealand takes place on Monday 15 January 2018 at Westminster Bridge, County Hall in London. Tickets cost £25 and are available to purchase online.
