" Opaque with tight, grainy, purple rim. Very attractive, bountiful nose with ripe banana, red cherry, dark plum and some spicy notes with full violet backing. Definite entry yet medium bodied but packed with layers of fruit suggested on the nose. Good balance and fine texture. Well managed oak. Supple tannins. Long, determined finish. Will develop well and be best in about 2015 and will continue for many years after that. "
