Saltram Wine Estate
Saltram The Journal Shiraz 2006
Tasting Note
"
Deep inky core colour, lightening at tim. Dense, massively concentrated fruit aromas, cassis, prune, spiced plum, bbq smoke, crushed stone, with a hint of bergamot. Muscular and weighty in the mouth, powerful yet silky tannins uphold the intense fruit/spice/mineral palate. This has all the structural elements to gain more complexity with even more bottle age. Well done!
