Following the recent revelation of our shortlists for our Scotch Whisky and Worldwide Whiskey producer awards, we are delighted to share the nominees for our other Spirit Producer Awards, which recognise the best distilleries across the world.
Experts have carefully analysed all the IWSC 2021 results, looking at producers' medals, scores and other achievements, in order to find the top distilleries across key categories.
Each of the winners of these trophies will be put forward for the IWSC’s coveted Outstanding Spirit Producer trophy. Last year this award, which is sponsored by Forsyths, was awarded for the first time to a Rum producer - Bellonnie & Bourdillon Successeurs in Martinique.
Continuing with another IWSC first, this year we have added three new producer trophies to our awards. As well as producer trophies for the Gin, Rum, Brandy, Vodka and Whisky categories, in 2021 we will also be rewarding trophies for the best Baijiu Producer, Agave Producer and Shochu Producer. See below for all shortlisted producers.
Usually, we would announce the winners at our annual banquet, though this year, we will be revealing the winners via a series of videos on our social media channels throughout the first week of November. Times and dates for these announcements can be viewed here.
Make sure you join us to find out who will be our 2021 winners, and best of luck to all our shortlisted producers.
