The IWSC has re-opened entries for Prosecco Superiore with the announcement of its new Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Trophy.

In recent years, the IWSC has only presented one trophy for Prosecco, The Prosecco Trophy – last year won by leading producer Villa Sandi

The new trophy is sponsored by Consorzio Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, the representative body of the appellation, meaning that the entries are only open to Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG wines.

Judging for The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Trophy will take place in September 2018.

The winners will be showcased by the IWSC at a major tasting in London, and in an IWSC-hosted masterclass at London Wine Fair 2019. The IWSC will also showcase selected winners at its annual ProWein dinner in March.
