" Deep dark core with bright purple rim. Nose beckons with massive surge of rich, ripe dark berry fruits with equally big wave of floral aromatics rolling in from behind. In reserve comes another wave of aromatics with tobacco, chocolate, cherry and cassis. Firm but smooth entry into the mouth with layers of flavour slowly descending and repeating what the nose promised . Ripe fruit becomes more defined with vanilla and cinnamon joining the rich mix. Super smooth and supple tannins. Beautiful balance between sweet fruit , tannins and lively acidity. Great structure and fine texture. Accessible now but has a decade or more of potential to develop.
