Ridgeview, established by the Roberts family, are known as leaders in the English sparking wine industry and were recently crowned ‘Best International Winemaker’ at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.

In a major boost for producers, the Ridgeview estate in Sussex was last November named the world’s best winemaker in the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018. This was the first time in the competition’s 49-year history that the award has been presented to an English producer.

The Spier 21 Gables Chenin Blanc 2016 received the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition’s 2018 Chenin Blanc Trophy – beating all other Chenin Blanc wines entered into this competition to be crowned the world’s best.
